Join a leading engineering and defence organisation supporting large-scale marine and shipbuilding projects in Henderson. We are currently seeking an organised and proactive Administration Assistant to provide day-to-day support to busy project and operational teams.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things organised and running smoothly.
- Providing general administrative support to project and operational teams
- Coordinating meetings, calendars, room bookings and catering
- Preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes and distributing action items
- Maintaining project registers, records and documentation
- Assisting with reports, correspondence and data entry
- Coordinating travel and accommodation bookings for staff
- Supporting onboarding and induction activities
- Managing filing systems and document control through SharePoint
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in an Administration Assistant, Team Assistant or Project Support role
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills and a professional approach
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy team environment
- A proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative
- Experience within engineering, construction, defence or industrial environments is highly regarded
- Certificate level 2 - Business Office Administration would be highly regarded
