Cutting-edge diagnostic tools, emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), and groundbreaking techniques are reshaping the landscape of the Life Sciences industry on a global scale. This transformation indicates a bright future where AI and automation will drive customised patient care, contributing to improved results for patients. Our new survey, Fact to the Future, therefore found that an overwhelming 90% of pharmaceutical industry specialists perceive the industry to be highly innovative and exciting.
The results of the survey demonstrate that the ability to improve people’s lives is the main driver for a career within the industry.
This might be why 46% of those we spoke to believe they could enjoy a better work/life balance in another industry.
Working at Brunel to drive the Life Sciences business, I am excited about the incredible potential that lies in attracting top-tier talent in the fields of AI and technology. This provides an opportunity for both growth and innovation which the Pharmaceuticals industry can’t afford to miss out on. By instigating open communication with the industry about ways in which they can attract new talent to the sector with a hybrid skill set, we aim to create a dynamic network of pioneering professionals to shape the future of the sector.
