Job Descriptions
As a Marine Engineer at Brunel International, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining marine vessels and offshore structures. Your role will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all marine engineering projects meet safety, quality, and performance standards. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, oversee installation and commissioning activities, and contribute to innovation in marine engineering solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field - Proven experience in marine engineering, preferably in vessel design, offshore platforms, or shipbuilding
- Strong knowledge of marine systems including propulsion, power generation, and HVAC - Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ABS, DNV, IMO, and SOLAS
- Proficient in CAD software and marine engineering design tools - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders - Willingness to travel and work offshore as required
