Key responsibilities
- Create isometrics, GA piping layouts, spool drawings and MTOs.
- Model and check 3D piping (AVEVA/PDMS, SmartPlant, AutoPLANT or equivalent) and resolve clashes with other disciplines.
- Interpret P&IDs, specify pipe routes, fittings, valves and supports.
- Coordinate with stress, process, mechanical and construction teams; support fabrication and site queries.
- Ensure compliance with codes/standards (ASME B31.3, API, DNV/ISO) and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Diploma/BSc in Mechanical or related discipline.
- 3-7+ years piping design experience in offshore/oil & gas (FPSO experience preferred).
- Proficient in 3D piping tools and AutoCAD; good understanding of pipe stress and offshore practices.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
