- Has significant experience, technical knowledge and valid license to operate a fire-fighting vehicle, (e.g. single cab or double cab fire tender)
- Capable of performing minor vehicle maintenance.
- Has background experience as a fire fighter in an oil/gas, petrochemical, power and water utilities or equivalent industry for a minimum of 5 years.
- License to operate/ drive a heavy vehicle (specifically fire fighting vehicle) with previous valid license from authorized issuing party (e.g. Traffic Directorate)
- (MUST) NFPA 1001Certification as Firefighter 1and 2
- Attended relevant training on handling hazardous events or incidents such as HAZMAT Awareness and HAZMAT Operations
- Physically and Medically Fit
- Age limit: 45 years old
- Must have excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Has significant knowledge in Heavy vehicle and Pump Operations.
- Has ability to carry out vehicle inspection.
- Has knowledge on fire safety inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers, indoor/outdoor hydrants and fire hoses.
- Has relevant knowledge in industrial firefighting system such water-based system, foam deluge system.
- Advance First Aider and knowledge on AED.
- Salary:
- Monthly Rate in QAR Plus Allowance
- Work Schedule:
- 8 Hours / 5 Days
- Duration:
- 2 years, with possible extension
