Perform coating inspections throughout surface preparation, painting, and final coating activities.
Verify compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and international coating standards.
Inspect surface preparation, blasting, environmental conditions, coating application, and dry film thickness (DFT).
Witness and document coating inspections, testing, and quality control activities.
Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, and quality documentation.
Coordinate with production, QA/QC, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve coating-related issues.
Ensure all coating activities comply with HSE and quality requirements.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Coating Inspector within shipbuilding, shipyard, offshore fabrication, EPC, or heavy industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of surface preparation, protective coating systems, blasting, painting, and inspection techniques.
Familiar with international standards such as SSPC, NACE, ISO 8501, ISO 12944, or equivalent.
Certified NACE Coating Inspector, FROSIO, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
Experienced in preparing inspection documentation and working with client quality requirements.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
