A unique opportunity for a Structural & Piping Supervisor to join our client's esteemed team. This pivotal role offers the chance to contribute to one of the largest LNG projects in the world, with the fabrication yard based in YANDA, China, on a 12 month contract (renewable). Overseeing the construction of critical infrastructure, you will play a key part in ensuring high-quality work execution across structural and piping activities.
Job Descriptions
What This Role Involves:
- Overseeing the production of pre-assembled pipe-rack modules and loose piping spools.
- Collaborating with teams to ensure compliance with HSE standards and work procedures.
- Monitoring welding, painting, NDT, hydrotesting, and insulation activities.
- Managing progress tracking and resolving project challenges while maintaining project timelines.
Job Requirements
Key Skills and Experience We're Looking For:
- Extensive Industry Expertise: Over a decade of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in supervisory roles, ensuring high standards of fabrication and execution.
- Welding Excellence: A deep understanding of welding processes, with specific knowledge of AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.3 standards.
- Quality Control: An eye for quality assurance, driving adherence to structural and piping procedures while addressing non-conformance with swift corrective actions.
- Strong Communication: Proficiency in English, with an ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-cultural environment. Knowledge of Chinese or French is a plus.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with advanced fabrication systems like SFMS and a commitment to maintaining safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.
