Job DescriptionsÂ
Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you will take ownership of the commercial and contractual management of projects from procurement through to final account.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering and contract negotiations.
- Prepare and administer subcontract agreements.
- Assess subcontractor claims, variations and progress payments.
- Manage project cost reporting, forecasting and budgets.
- Prepare client progress claims and variation submissions.
- Monitor project cash flow and commercial performance.
- Assist with head contract administration and risk management.
- Drive positive commercial outcomes while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Contract Administrator or Contract Administrator within a commercial head contractor environment.
- Experience delivering commercial construction projects valued between $20M and $100M - preferrably in retirement/aged-care.
- Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement and cost management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, consultants and subcontractors.
- Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar.
