Job Descriptions
Based from EcoCycle's Campbellfield head office, you'll be responsible for driving growth across the retail sector, engaging with national retailers, franchise groups, supermarkets, shopping centre operators and multi-site organisations seeking innovative recycling and sustainability solutions.
This is a true hunter role, focused on developing new business opportunities, building long-term customer relationships and helping retailers improve environmental outcomes through practical, scalable recycling programs.
You'll work with stakeholders across procurement, sustainability, facilities, operations and executive leadership teams, positioning EcoCycle as a trusted partner in environmental compliance, resource recovery and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across the retail sector
- Build relationships with national retailers, franchise groups and multi-site organisations
- Promote EcoCycle Group's market-leading recycling and resource recovery solutions
- Engage retailers looking to strengthen ESG, sustainability and circular economy initiatives
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, site visits and solution workshops
- Develop tailored proposals and service agreements
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive business development activity
- Grow ANZ and multi-site customer accounts
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes
- Represent EcoCycle at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities

You are a commercially driven business development professional who enjoys building relationships, opening doors and creating long-term partnerships.
You'll Bring
- Proven success in business development, account management or solution sales
- Experience winning new business and developing customer relationships
- Strong consultative selling and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience selling into retail, facilities management, property or related sectors
- Ability to engage with procurement, sustainability, operations and executive stakeholders
- Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities
- Experience managing a structured sales pipeline and CRM activity
- Familiarity with sustainability initiatives, product stewardship, environmental compliance or ESG programs will be highly regarded
- A passion for helping customers achieve meaningful sustainability outcomes
