Researcher

Brunel is looking for a Researcher for a permanent role in one of our O&G clients as the profile below:

1.Establish or participate in defining the scope and objectives of the project he/she directs or collaborates in.

2.Define the plan for the project or activity (deadlines, investments, internal resources including support areas, external R&D resources, expenses, risks, etc.) to meet the objectives of the project

3.Oversee, monitor, and redirect the project depending on the results and associated expenses, ensuring a proper use of the resources assigned to the project and taking responsibility to achieve the required quality.

4.Inform the Technology organization on the achievement of project results and transfer them externally to the business.

5.Design and support the implementation of specific facilities needed for the activity.

6.Be on constant technology watch in his/her area, to always have up- to-date knowledge and guarantee the technical quality of the activity. In this regard, offer ideas, alternatives, and improvements to processes and products in his/her work area, ensuring adequate dissemination.

7.Coordinate and monitor the tasks of the multi-disciplinary team or service assigned to his/her project or activity. The process of projects and initiative structuration, since the ideation up to the contract signature

• Engineering Background (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Automation Engineering degree).
• MBA, Master or doctorate degree would be a plus
• Field experience (onshore or offshore) would be a plus.
• 5 Years’ experience (more would be a plus).
• Project Management knowledge
• Research, innovation, contract management and patent knowledge would be a plus.
• Excellent organizational, planning, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of people
• Ability to be self-directed and establish priorities to achieve goals and meet deadlines
• Fluent English
