About this role: Planning and Cost Control Manager
- Support the project manager with progress reporting including schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification and opportunities for improvement;
- Provide project controls management, including baseline schedule development and management, performance status and reporting, baseline change control, risk management, earned value management guidance and tools;
- Advice and consult on the application of effective planning techniques and controls (earned value, cost and schedule variance, estimates at completion, critical path analysis);
- Support program integration, governance, formats, plan optimization, and project controls best practices;
- Support and advise on the definition of Project Controls and Earned Value Management policies, procedures and the standards required to deliver projects;
- Monitor and control programmed compliance in respect of the projects contractual obligations;
- Ensuring the Project controls team produce weekly / monthly reports in line with the project and company reporting calendar, providing details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances;
- Ensure that project controls processes are consistently applied across the project;
- Manage governance to ensure robust cost and schedule performance for the agreed Scope of Work across integrated programs managed across multiple suppliers;
- Support and advise on the definition of Project Controls and earned Value Management policies, procedures and the standards required to deliver projects;
- Work closely with the Project Manager, commercial manager and Project quantity surveyors to maximize the potential of the project;
- Follow up the Project Budget, and provide budget updates;
- Provide budget updates in such form and with such details as may be requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience/knowledge in a similar field;
- Experience in Large Mixed-Use Projects;
- Candidate prefer to be proficient with industry-standard cost management, estimating, and project controls software, and should be familiar with scheduling;
- A CCP, PMP certification will be considered an asset;
- Good organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication skills necessary;
- Must have proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite. Ability to rapidly learn and apply other applications/techniques;
- Excellent English Language Skills, Preferable Turkish Language.
