Reporting to the Accounting and Tax Manager, the Shared Services Accountant is responsible for testing and evaluating SAP S4/HANA solution to drive seamless transition from R3 to S4 for the Order to Cash and Purchase to Pay cycles. The Accountant is responsible for evaluating and testing new solution as it applies to current processes and effectively communicating gaps.

About this role

Responsibilities

  • Deploy appropriate testing framework (using existing test scripts) and sequence to meet the testing mandate;
  • Deploy all phases of testing, including resourcing, scheduling, management of test scripts, templates and process;
  • Work closely with SAP Lead to communicate process streams and testing resources within the business;
  • Manage the reporting for testing delivery in accordance with project plan;
  • Identify and manage issues and risks, escalating as necessary;
  • Maintain availability and schedule ongoing testing and support to end users;
  • Manage and maintain weekly status report, including identification of risks, issues and mitigation;
  • Report on and monitor the progress of testing program, including percentage complete;
  • Work collaboratively with peers and build relationships;
  • Determine SAP S4HANA requirements for O2C, P2P and R2R processes, by assessing current needs and provide solutions for any risks;
  • Work with global team and local team to understand project timelines, execute within provided deadlines;


About you

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher;
  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience with testing SAP S4HANA in Finance Domain;
  • Previous experience working with Shared Services Center;
  • Intimate knowledge of Order to Cash process in S4 HANA;
  • Working knowledge of S4 HANA and R3, detail oriented and process focused;
  • Personal accountability and strong drive for execution;
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent English language skills;
  • Comprehensive understanding of Purchase to Pay and Record to Report cycles within SAP S4HANA preferred;
  • Experience in working with remote team members preferred;
  • Working knowledge with R3, knowledge of O2C preferred.
