About this role

Brunel are seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join a global leader in the mining and resources sector in Pinjarra. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising and managing contractors executing work on site for capital projects, maintenance, facilities management and plant services.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Ensure contractor compliance with relevant HSE standards, statutory requirements and procedures.
  • Monitor, audit and report on contractor performance and workmanship.
  • Manage contractor conformance with agreed budgets and schedules.
  • Participate in Project Front End Loading (FEL), providing input on constructability issues and ensure compatibility of designs with relevant constraints and construction methods.
  • Engage in the process of implementing continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

  • Electrical trade background with proven experience in the resource sector.
  • Safety leadership experience with a zero-harm approach, able to identify hazards and minimise risk.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical compliance, statutory requirements and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills.
  • Background in electrical engineering will be highly regarded.
