About this role: Drill Fitters

Brunel are currently seeking applications from Drill Fitter for our Client who are industry leading Drill Specialists. We are Seeking Experienced Drill fitters- For various projects in the Western Australian Goldfields region.

Your daily operations will include:

  • Performing Scheduled Drill servicing across Sandvik DI650I and DP1500I Pantera
  • Performing unscheduled reparis
  • Maintaining and servicing light vehicles
  • technical guidance & field service Support to operations personnel
  • Training & support to other Employees
  • Liaise with client and OEM's & suppliers on technical issues
  • Completing necessary safety paperwork and processes
  • Assisting with routine maintenance
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

Successful application will ideally have :

  • Australian recognized Mechanical Trade certificate is essential; (HD fitter)
  • Previous experience within a mining environment;
  • Proven experience working on and maintaining Atlas Copco D65/L8, Sandvik DP1500 and 1500i;
  • Ability to consistently maintain high quality of workmanship;
  • Police clearance (obtained within last 3 months);
  • Valid unrestricted drivers licence;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Good problem solving skills;
  • Work at heights would be an advantage;
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and DAS
