About this role: Trade Assistant

We are looking for Trade Assistance of varying levels of experience to work across multiple sites in the Pilbara region. We are able to offer 2:1 rosters. This is your opportunity to join a dynamic team at one of the leading Iron-Ore producers in Australia. As a Trade Assistant, you are responsible for helping and supporting tradespeople and assisting with the maintenance of worksites and equipment. Trades Assistants commonly work within the electrical, telecommunications, mining, and building and construction industries. We are looking for a dedicated individual.

This role, directed by the Process Supervisor, holds a critical function in ensuring the efficient operation of all major equipment within the Fixed Plant. The following are the primary duties:

  • Assisting the team in day-to-day operations.
  • Safe and efficient operation of equipment (eg, EWP’s, telehandlers)
  • Being flexible as no two days are the same.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Licenses desired (not mandatory)

  • Manual Driving License
  • Working at heights
  • Current Forklift License
Flexible on experience, looking for an individual with the right attitude
  • Good team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work and assist across all areas (fabrication, electrical & fitting)
