Sr. Accountant (Fixed Assets)

Brunel International is a leading provider of innovative engineering, technology and project services. We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant (Fixed Assets) to join our team in Kuwait. Candidates located in Kuwait with transferable visa will be given first preference.

• The Sr. Accountant (Asset Accounting) will be responsible for maintaining the accounting for Fixed Assets and maintaining the Balance sheet of the company. This role requires close monitoring of asset capitalization and maintaining proper documentation and basis for capitalizing the passive assets, as well as day-to-day coordination with Technology to monitor the passive CWIP;
• The Sr. Accountant (Asset Accounting) will also coordinate with the FA Team in physical verification of the Assets as per the approved plan, maintain all the documentation relating to the Assets and provide support for audits, and upgrade in-scope asset list, coordinate with Technology and Administration (add the asset related to new site and exclude asset relating to dismantled site).

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Asset Accounting or related field;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment;
• Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
