About this role: Senior Exploration Geologist

Our client is a leading Gold Miner. They are now seeking a Exploration Geologist to join their team based on an 8:6 roster. The company is offering an attractive salary package and long-term career progression.
Complete all activities as directed by managers to the best of your abilities in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with data analysts and use specialized software to process and interpret geological information.
Plan and supervise drilling campaigns to collect core samples from target areas.
Analyze drill core samples to understand the geological characteristics and potential gold content.
Contribute to resource estimation and reporting processes by providing geological data and interpretations.
Develop and maintain in good standing in all professional internal and external relationships.
Reporting of all safety matters and development of safer working systems in accordance with the companies policies and procedures
Requirements
Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology/Earth Science, geoscience, environmental geoscience, geochemistry, or equivalent tertiary training.
Minimum 5 years experience in mineral exploration with a good understanding of gold exploration, intrusion hosted gold mineralisation.
Sound experience with drilling and exploration planning and budgeting requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership abilities.
Solid understanding of modern HSE standards and Emergency preparedness as applicable to this location.
