Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for construction projects? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your organizational skills can shine? Our client is seeking a dedicated and motivated Project Administrator to join their esteemed construction team.

Our client is a leader in energy transmission and distribution, playing a vital role in delivering reliable power to communities across the region. As a Project Administrator you will join the busy operations team, this role supports the construction team and contributes to the success of projects ensuring everyone dot the i’s and cross the t’s keeping the project administration orderly and efficient.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • General administration and support for our team on site.
  • Input of delivery dockets, orders, subcontractors and invoices into job costing system
  • Purchasing of goods for site and maintenance of our various registers.
  • Assist with the valuation of monthly progress claims.
  • Assist with project cost forecasting exercises.
  • Coordinate site-based travel, accommodation and relocation arrangements.
  • Establishing and maintaining electronic and hard copy files

Requirements

  • Demonstrated exposure to job costing, purchasing and accounts ideally within the construction industry.
  • Certificate III Business Administration qualification or similar.
  • High level of data entry skills – speed and accuracy of input.
  • Contributes to the team and works collaboratively.
  • Intermediate to advanced use of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks whilst under pressure and to meet deadlines.
