Operators (FIFO)

As an operator you should be focused on operating, not figuring out how to get to and from work each swing. How does this work?

Beenleigh to Ballina? .

• Door to door pickup, you just have to live within 1.5 hours of the GC Airport.

• 7/7 ROSTER - Wednesday start
• No Fatigue break on the last shift of each swing - straight from site to the airport and home
• We try and minimise the travel time getting to work for the first swing

You’ll be working on a major coal mine located in the Gunnedah Basin, just over an hours flight time from QLD. With over 15 years of mine left you’ll have long term opportunities, shorter travel times to work and get to operate somewhere outside of the Bowen basin.

As an experienced operator you know what you need to do each shift.

We looking for Mutli-Skilled Operators who enjoy working on different gear to meet productions needs. We'd also love to chat with truck and digger operators.

The main gear on site is

• CAT 789s, Hitachi EH3500, EH4000 & EH5000 Trucks
• D10, D11, 475 Dozers
• 16M & 24M Grader
• Hitachi EX3600, EX5600 & EX8000 Excavators

What do you need to have?

• You NEED to have transcripts/competencies that are valid in the last 5 years.
• You NEED mining experience on the big gear!
• You care about working safely and ensuring your mates are safe too.
• You know the rules and how to follow them on a mine site.

The Money -

• Multi-Skilled Operators = $57.10 / hr
• Excavator Operators = $62.10 / hr
• Haul Truck Operators = $53.60 / hr

• Everyone gets an extra $4 / hour paid weekly
• $3 / hour banked for you and paid quarterly
• $3,000 retention bonus paid quarterly as well
• Super paid on all roster hours and the extras.
