Mechanical Handling

We’re hiring Mechanical Handling Engineer for one of our Leading MNC in Oil and gas to join their growing team. This position is based out in Chennai/ Bangalore

• Responsible as a focal point for Material / Mechanical Handling in offshore and onshore projects within the Mechanical department for developing technical requirements, specification and reports and model review;
• Preparation of Material / Mechanical Handling Philosophy for Onshore and Offshore projects;
• Preparation of material requisitions of material handling equipment. Review Material/ Mechanical handling activities inside packaged units and skids. Coordination of Material/ Mechanical Handling requirements/interfaces with Piping and Structural disciplines. Preparation of Crane Studies; Preparation of Material/ Mechanical Handling Reports.

• 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in oil and gas engineering projects. Position demands experience and skills to perform mechanical handling study on FPSO, offshore and onshore projects;
• Shall be a self-driven person, who can undertake the study independently;
• Basic understanding of PFDs & PIDs is a must. FPSO, Off Shore and Brown field Experience is a plus;
• Qualification:- Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Shall be a specialist in Refinery, FPSO, FLNG, Petrochemical, Fertilizer industry / equipment / application.
