About this role: Lead of Site Planning
- Oversight, monitoring and verification of contractor’s Site schedule (typically Level 4 and further), schedule performance, progress measurement and reporting.
- Develop KPIs by interpreting valuable information from contractor’s deliverables to aid decision making.
- Understands the Site key project drivers, defines roles and responsibilities, develops communication protocols, identifies, develops and implements project planning and scheduling procedures.
- Coordinates and facilitates Site planning sessions and development of plans for Site Project teams.
- The prime objective of Site planning is to drive and improve project construction performance by defining correct and logic tasks execution within a given timeframe by anticipating issues, reducing risks, and avoiding negative impacts. Embedded robust site planning practices to contribute to the consistent delivery of successful projects.
- Provide Site project Site planning and scheduling and progress quantity measurement expertise to the Onshore Project, in particular EPC-3 and EPC-4. Responsible for overseeing Contractor’s schedule Level 4, KPI’s, interfaces and weekly and monthly reporting and advises any potential schedule issues and provides guidance on corrective actions and measures to mitigate any adverse trends.
- Regular progress monitoring by liaising with site construction management team and contractors’ site teams in all construction areas. Development of site KPIs by using construction data for efficient tracking of all site construction activities. Analyze site schedule and progress trends reported by EPC Contractor.
- Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests related to site schedule, progress, KPIs and reports. Facilitate periodic meetings with contractors to review site schedule and progress and report to Head of Site Planning EPC-3 / EPC-4.
- Liaise regularly with the procurement team to monitor alignment with the expediting report and construction schedule.
- Review Contractor’s construction productivity, manpower, quantities on a weekly basis and produce KPIs for PMT review. Review EPC Contractor’s site progress reports and verify claimed progress. Review and endorse site schedule and progress baselines and forecasts Level 4 prepared by EPC Contractor. Review EPC Contractor’s project control procedures (field control procedures) to ensure that Company’s requirements are being met.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction alternatively relevant experience in oil and gas industry.
- Minimum of 10 years of major EPC project experience within the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Good knowledge of LNG construction and commissioning.
- Experience in Primavera P6 scheduling tools and advanced excel.
- Knowledge and hands on of working with large construction data to produce KPI’s.
- Expert knowledge of developing schedules, in particular Level 4; understanding of baseline, actual and forecast plans and progress data.
- Knowledge of WBS and rules of credit for progress measurement in all phases of project.
- Team player, flexible and experienced of working in a diverse team environment.
- Good organizational, planning and execution skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Good Software skills: Primavera P6, Advanced excel.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP).
- Developed coordination and planning skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with several organizational levels.
