As a Civil Designer, you will play a pivotal role in:

  • Assisting the design and development of innovative projects that include subdivisions from conception to realization.
  • Conducting thorough site assessments, analyzing topographic data, and devising site grading plans to maximize land utility.
  • Collaborating seamlessly with diverse stakeholders including architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure cohesive design integration.
  • Crafting detailed engineering drawings, precise plans, and specifications utilizing industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Ensuring meticulous adherence to local codes, regulations, and permit requisites.
  • Imparting your technical proficiency and mentorship to mentor and nurture junior team members.
  • Engaging with clients to present design concepts and provide transparent updates on project advancement.

Requirements

  • Qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A solid track record of at least 4 years in civil design, with a specific focus on land sub-divisions.
  • Proficiency in the use of design tools like AutoCAD and 12D.
  • A comprehensive grasp of Queensland Building Codes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage several projects concurrently.
  • Leadership capabilities, coupled with a talent for collaborative teamwork.
