Medical Information Associate (12-month contract)

Responsibilities
- Respond to Unsolicited Requests for Information
- Respond to unsolicited verbal and written Medical Information inquiries from HCPs, consumers and cross-functional colleagues, in a prompt, accurate and compliant manner.
- Meet or exceed customer satisfaction objectives
- Use local and global data, customer insights, and knowledge of Canadian information ecosystem to formulate local therapeutic area Medical Information content strategy
- Create and manage a local portfolio of high-quality Medical Information responses, supporting different audience, traditional and digital channel needs in English and French. This includes, but is not limited to: Medical Letters, cFAQs, Multi-Response documents, Webpages, Voice Bot content, Slide kits
- Partner with relevant roles and teams within medical information, and across the business (e.g. medical, marketing, business units, digital, GMI), to optimize TA content and delivery.
- Support cross-functional teams with tactic development addressing clinical care gaps
- Develop and maintain therapeutic area (TA) knowledge
- Understand the medical information and regulatory and competitive environment, in relation to capabilities, activities, subject matter expertise (e.g. MI, technology) and service delivery
- Monitor requests and TA (e.g. brand, competitors, markets) to maintain subject matter awareness and up-to-date content.
- Have expert technical knowledge: efficiently analyze and integrate information from a broad range of resources and technologies to address complex customer questions in a timely manner.
- Manage issues and crises, applicable to brand/TA.
- Analyze metrics for applicable TA, sharing insights at local, regional and global level (in conjunction with key personnel).
- Develop and maintain partnerships with key internal teams to accelerate and optimize upcoming launches, manage issues and deliver solutions.
- Deliver scientific training (i.e. CRC, PSP, patient safety, sales etc.) and share expertise with others; coach (formal/informal) and support colleagues within function and broader organization
- Review promotional, medical, educational and other communications for scientific rigour and accuracy as per procedures.
- Deliver digital/virtual, technological and automation initiatives to optimize service delivery, operations efficiencies, customer experience or optimize resources in line with business priorities/goals.
- Manage projects to agreed outcomes and deliver business benefits.
- Implement and deliver on complex transformation projects or solutions.
- Support operational improvements for inspection readiness and/or in relation to inspection outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing or other related health care field or medical sciences
- Bilingual (English and French) preferred
- Advanced written and verbal language skills
- Strong skill in data analytics, including the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights
- Proficiency in understanding and utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies compliantly with careful consideration of their implications
- Agility: Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and effectively, with a proactive mindset
- Ability to translate complex medical information and data into a succinct, technically correct, readable document that customers can use to make clinical decisions.
- Experience with databases, performing medical literature searches and evaluation of the medical literature
- Flexibility in working in multiple therapeutic areas as need arises
- Adaptable to newly emerging technologies (including but not limited to, medical information resources, medical information content management systems, medical information delivery systems, field-based medical delivery systems, customer interaction analytics and customer management systems, etc.)
