Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operation and maintenance of hull, mooring/anchor systems, ballast systems, and structural integrity monitoring.
  • Manage propulsion, steering, thruster (if applicable) and auxiliary machinery performance and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate routine inspections, surveys and planned maintenance activities; supervise repairs and drydock/rig-move preparations as required.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, class society rules, and company safety & environmental policies.
  • Participate in HSE audits, risk assessments (e.g., PHA), and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent.
  • Class-approved certification (e.g., Chief Engineer/Marine Engineer Certificate) and relevant STCW endorsements where applicable.
  • Minimum 5 years' offshore or naval/marine engineering experience; FPSO or offshore vessel experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of class rules, SOLAS, MARPOL, and offshore mooring/station-keeping systems.
