Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care across a varied caseload, including urgent and emergency presentations
- Independently manage cases from diagnostics through treatment planning and follow-up
- Perform routine and more advanced surgical and dental procedures with confidence
- Collaborate with clinic team members to support strong patient outcomes and client care
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients to support understanding and continuity of care
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold clinical and regulatory standards
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- 3-7 years of clinical experience in small animal practice
- Eligible for or currently holding a Private Practice license in British Columbia
- Strong proficiency in surgery and dentistry, with confidence managing complex cases
- Comfortable handling urgent or emergency cases as part of daily workflow
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and client-focused approach
