An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Open Mine Engineer to join a well-established hard-rock gold operation in Kalgoorlie. This permanent position offers strong exposure across drill & blast, scheduling, planning and production optimisation.
You'll work closely with technical teams and mining crews to support production delivery, short-term planning and operational improvements.
- Develop weekly mine plans, drill and blast designs and production schedules
- Enter and validate operational data for accurate planning and reporting
- Reconcile production performance against plans and identify improvement actions
- Conduct stope performance reviews and optimisation work
- Collaborate with mining crews, geology, survey and contractors to support safe execution
- Assist with monthly and quarterly planning and reporting inputs
- Strong open pit mining experience (hard-rock gold desired)
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in production engineering, drill & blast and scheduling
- Deswik experience highly desirable
- Pit optimisation exposure
