Brunel is hiring a Project Control Lead to wotk with a Major Oil and Gas cllient in Carlsbad, NM on a Long Term Contract!
- Provide cost, schedule, and progress control leadership, including reporting and forecasting
- Develop and maintain CBS, OCB/CCB, project schedules, and budgeting processes
- Lead Project Controls Plan and Management of Change (MOC) processes
- Conduct monthly stewardship reviews and support Gate/approval milestones
- Coordinate estimating, planning, and cost control activities
- Analyze project performance, identify risks, and prepare forecasts
- Interface with finance on budgets, AFEs, invoices, and work-in-place
- Oversee contractor performance in cost, schedule, and progress control
- Review and endorse contractor baselines, forecasts, and change proposals
- Support corrective actions and recovery plans
- Lead project controls team and coordinate across stakeholders
- Mentor team members and ensure alignment on key deliverables
- Support reporting, presentations, and project close-out activities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Strong experience in cost and schedule project controls
- Supervisory experience required
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Willing to relocate and work on-site/overseas
