Brunel Energy is recruiting a Senior Contracts Advisor to work with a major chemicals company on an initial 1 year contract in Moon Township, PA.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Contract Management Coach to develop, mentor, and elevate the capabilities of contract management professionals and teams. This role focuses on improving contract lifecycle processes, enhancing negotiation skills, and driving best practices across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines deep contract management expertise with strong coaching, training, and leadership skills to enable teams to operate more effectively and strategically.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching & Development
- Provide one-on-one and group coaching to contract managers and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strengthen capabilities in contract drafting, negotiation, and risk management
- Mentor team members to advance professional growth and leadership readiness
Training & Enablement
- Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and learning materials
- Develop standardized playbooks, templates, and best practices
- Support onboarding and continuous learning initiatives
Contract Process Improvement
- Assess current contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes
- Identify inefficiencies, risks, and compliance gaps
- Implement scalable improvements to enhance speed, accuracy, and governance
Strategic Advisory
- Provide guidance on complex, high-value, or high-risk contracts
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on contract strategy and negotiations
- Promote a proactive, value-driven approach to contract management
Performance & Metrics
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, risk reduction, and contract value
- Use analytics to drive continuous improvement and decision-making
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with legal, procurement, finance, and operations teams
- Align contract management practices with organizational goals and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, or related field
- 8-12+ years of experience in contract management, legal, procurement, or commercial roles
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, drafting, and lifecycle management
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or training professionals
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or Juris Doctor (JD)
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPCM, CCM)
- Experience implementing or optimizing CLM systems
- Background in consulting, training, or organizational development
