On behalf of our client, a High Profile Service Provider to the Oil & Gas industry sector, Brunel is presently recruiting a People & Culture Manager to join their Darwin Team. Reporting to the Senior Manager - People & Culture, you will partner with Offshore and Onshore Leaders to support Workforce Planning, Employee Relations, Compliance, Recruitment and People & Culture initiatives.

  • Partner with Leaders to deliver people solutions aligned with operational priorities
  • Manage complex employee and industrial relations matters including disciplinary, grievance and Speak-Up cases
  • Provide advice on Australian employment law compliance and people-related risk
  • Build and maintain relationships with unions and employee representatives
  • Lead and develop the local People & Culture Team
  • Support recruitment, talent management, succession planning and remuneration review activities
  • Manage mobilisation and demobilisation of offshore and international personnel
  • Develop and maintain local People & Culture policies aligned with global frameworks and Australian Employment Law
  • Deliver People & Culture reporting, KPIs, dashboards and workforce insights

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration OR a related discipline is preferred
  • Experience in an operational or offshore environment
  • Experience managing complex employee relations matters through to resolution
  • Experience working with unionised workforces and collective agreements
  • Strong leadership and team development capability
  • Ability to partner with Operational Managers on workforce matters
  • High level of integrity, professionalism and discretion
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills
