The ERP Change Manager for SAP is responsible for leading organizational change management (OCM) for a large-scale ERP (SAP S/4HANA) implementation across multiple operational sites. The position ensures successful adoption and business readiness by coordinating stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams throughout the transformation lifecycle-from planning through go-live and post-implementation support.
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end change strategy for the ERP program, ensuring alignment with implementation timelines and business goals.
- Review and strengthen existing change management plans by identifying gaps, risks, and misalignment with the system roadmap.
- Act as the central coordination point across vendors and internal teams to ensure a consistent and unified OCM approach.
- Validate and assess business process changes, ensuring impacts are fully documented and understood.
- Collaborate with training teams to translate change impacts into effective, role-based learning programs.
- Establish and enforce organizational readiness criteria, including go/no-go decision frameworks.
- Drive stakeholder engagement, communications, and adoption strategies across multiple locations.
- Build and lead change champion or super user networks to support engagement and feedback loops.
- Monitor readiness metrics and proactively address resistance or change fatigue through targeted interventions.
- Enterprise-wide role supporting multiple sites and diverse stakeholder groups
- Critical to ensuring smooth ERP deployment, transition to operations, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Focus on delivering measurable adoption, readiness, and long-term sustainment of new processes and systems.
- 5-10+ years of enterprise change management experience, leading large-scale transformations impacting 5,000+ employees
- Proven track record delivering complex ERP change programs, with a strong preference for SAP S/4HANA
- Experience leading end-to-end ERP implementations (strategy through go-live and stabilization)
- Ability to rapidly assess and refine existing OCM strategies, identifying gaps, risks, and improvements
- Demonstrated capability to operate at both strategic and execution levels-not just design, but hands-on delivery
- Experience in multi-site, operational environments, engaging stakeholders from frontline to executive leadership
- Strong background in organizational readiness, adoption, and go/no-go decision frameworks
- Heavy industry experience required (e.g., mining, energy, oil & gas), with mining strongly preferred
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and system integrators
- Expertise in communications and stakeholder engagement, with ability to strengthen and lead change communication efforts
