Lead Marine Engineer | Rotterdam | 12-month contract (renewable)

Key responsibilities
- Own discipline methods, procedures and technical delivery; optimize design to meet specs, codes, standards and regulations.
- Proactively plan and deliver discipline activities and deliverables within agreed schedule and budget.
- Define and manage discipline resource needs across the project.
- Ensure discipline scope is delivered to contractual requirements and internal requirements.
- Capture lessons learned; understand change impact within/across project system boundaries.
- Manage all discipline interfaces, including third parties: clients, subcontractors, vendors, classification societies and regulatory bodies.
- Act as Principal for an assigned scope and/or serve as Technical Expert / Engineering Method Authority when designated.
Requirements
- Engineer Diploma in a relevant discipline.
- 10-15 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong capability across: engineering design & calculation tools, detailed design, package engineering & manufacturing, marine, reliability/operability/safety, sub-contracting, site engineering, analysis, hazards & effects management / formal safety assessment, and planning
