This role sits within the engineering and maintenance function supporting offshore facilities and plays a key part in ensuring electrical and instrumentation systems operate safely and reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring electrical and instrumentation systems across offshore facilities meet integrity and reliability standards
  • Providing technical advice and engineering support to offshore operations teams
  • Managing engineering scopes and third-party studies related to E&I systems
  • Supporting Management of Change processes for electrical and instrumentation modifications
  • Preparing engineering scopes, cost estimates and technical packages for improvement projects
  • Supporting the development and approval of engineering work programs and budgets
  • Coordinating equipment QA processes including factory and site acceptance testing
  • Assisting with contractor selection and execution management for engineering scopes
  • Supporting operational compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements and safety case obligations
  • Contributing to incident management processes where required

You will be an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer with a strong background supporting operational oil and gas or heavy industrial facilities.

You will bring a combination of technical expertise, operational awareness and the ability to work collaboratively with offshore operations teams.

Key requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
  • Experience supporting electrical and instrumentation systems in operational facilities
  • Strong understanding of asset integrity, reliability and maintenance engineering principles
  • Experience managing engineering scopes and technical studies with external contractors
  • Familiarity with Management of Change processes and engineering governance frameworks
  • Experience working with CMMS systems and engineering documentation processes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering environment
