What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems on heavy mining and construction equipment.
  • Perform overhauls, maintenance, and new equipment builds.
  • Troubleshoot issues using computerized and manual diagnostic tools.
  • Work independently in remote field settings, including adverse weather and confined spaces.
  • Follow safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement in safe work practices.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs as required by the role.

What You Bring

  • Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician.
  • Interprovincial Red Seal certification.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Self-motivated and safety-focused, with experience working independently in field conditions.
  • Experience working with Komatsu equipment is an asset.

This position is safety sensitive. Candidates may be required to complete ticket verification, a pre-employment medical questionnaire, a drug and alcohol test, and a 5-year commercial driver's abstract.
