Key Account Manager - Cardiometabolic Health (12-month contract) Montreal, Quebec (Remote)
Responsibilities
- Identify and map pharmacy channel opportunities across Quebec, identifying high-potential partners and regions.
- Develop and execute strategic plans tailored to the pharmacy channel, leveraging innovative thinking and a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and influence.
- Build and maintain relationships with key pharmacy stakeholders, including chains, associations, wholesalers, and digital platforms, ensuring alignment with CMH's value proposition.
- Ensure product accessibility for pharmacists and patients through optimized ordering systems (e.g., EMRs, wholesalers, retail, and online pharmacies).
- Establish compliant and impactful partnerships within the pharmacy ecosystem, exploring new models of collaboration and commercial engagement.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., medical, marketing, market access, supply chain) to ensure seamless execution of pharmacy-focused initiatives.
- Report clear and actionable performance metrics, with a focus on pharmacy channel KPIs and business impact.
- Analyze complex data sets to uncover untapped pharmacy opportunities and translate insights into executable commercial strategies.
Required Competencies:
- Demonstrated experience in key account and B2B management, with a strong focus on pharmacy channel engagement.
- Deep familiarity with retail pharmacy chains, pharmacy associations, and key HCP accounts; understanding of digital health is an asset.
- Exposure to private healthcare insurance models and their intersection with pharmacy services is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen, particularly in pharmacy-driven business models.
- Effective communication and influencing skills, with a proven track record of driving pharmacy channel growth in the healthcare sector.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Prior experience within the pharmaceutical industry is required
- 5 years of progressive KAM, account management, or sales representative experience within the pharmaceutical industry or pharmacy
- Proven success in developing and executing strategic business plans, especially those targeting pharmacy stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into strategic insights.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a focus on pharmacy and HCP engagement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed to engage pharmacy partners and support field execution.
