Brunel is currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist for a leading global pharmaceutical organization in St-Laurent, Quebec.
- Support employee onboarding activities and facilitate HR orientation sessions for new hires.
- Administer employee benefits programs and provide guidance and education regarding available offerings.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, programs, and general HR matters.
- Manage Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD) cases in collaboration with external benefits providers.
- Act as the primary liaison with provincial agencies responsible for workers' compensation and workplace safety programs.
- Partner with the HR Connect team to monitor and resolve employee cases, answer inquiries, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Maintain HR Connect portal content and support the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Manage the HR inbox and assist with employee communications and engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate vendor relationships, including invoice processing and payment administration.
- Support HR projects, programs, reporting activities, and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, HR Specialist, or similar HR support role.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
- Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, labour standards, and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting disability management, workers' compensation, or benefits administration.
- Experience working in a large corporate or multinational environment.
