- Lead the Static equipment engineering activities for Offshore Projects, ensuring technical requirements (e.g. project specifications, data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardised processes.
- Provide support to Offshore Engineering Manager to ensure all aspects are delivered in accordance with the applicable standards.
- Ensure Contractor's mechanical equipment engineering for Topsides and Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) Engineering designs comply with Contract requirements, applicable codes and project standards.
- Review and approve Contractor Mechanical engineering deliverables for equipment including Test Separator, Pig Traps, Chemical Storage Tanks. Review and comment on other engineering discipline deliverables.
- Review and approve Contractor Technical Bid Evaluation for Mechanical equipment including Test Separator, Pig Traps and Chemical Storage Tanks, ensuring vendor proposals comply with Project specification requirements.
- Plan and schedule engineering deliverables to support efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with LNG operational policies, business conduct standards and project management system.
- Participate in key design workshops and ensure recommendation are effectively implemented and actions closed (3D model review, Lessons Learned, Value Engineering, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, engineering criticality assessment, etc.).
- Support the Offshore Engineering Manager in monitoring contractor progress on delivery of the required Static Equipment documentation for Topsides and Pipeline disciplines.
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts across disciplines involved in mechanical equipment delivery, ensuring endorsement of technical deviations to Company specifications when required.
- Supervise and manage Engineering interface for mechanical equipment across Topsides and Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) ensuring effective coordination with Operations, the pipelines from the topsides perspective, the Onshore Project Team.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering.
- 8 years of relevant experience as engineer including 4 years in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry including 1 year of experience in supervisory role and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary, multicultural teams in offshore environments.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
- Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications
- Good knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping, pipeline, structural, instrument, telecom, piping and electrical.
