Brunel is currently partnering with a leading multinational consulting and project management company to recruit an experienced Contract Manager - Mandarin Speaker.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile industrial project, where you will play a critical role in managing contract administration, commercial governance, and stakeholder relationships while working closely with international clients and Mainland China contractors.

  • Lead the administration and management of EPC and construction contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide contractual advice to project teams, ensuring compliance with contract terms, commercial obligations, and company policies.
  • Review, negotiate, and administer contracts, amendments, variations, and claims.
  • Manage contractual correspondence and maintain accurate contract documentation.
  • Support contract risk assessment, dispute avoidance, and commercial negotiations.
  • Coordinate with project management, procurement, engineering, legal, and commercial teams to resolve contractual matters.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders, including Mainland China contractors.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure contractual deliverables are achieved.
  • Prepare contract reports and provide commercial recommendations to senior management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in contract management, commercial management, or procurement within EPC, construction, industrial, mining, energy, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong experience administering FIDIC-based EPC contracts or other international standard forms of contract.
  • Previous experience working with Chinese EPC contractors or multinational project environments is highly preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of contract administration, claims management, and commercial risk management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.

  • Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written) is mandatory.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
