Key responsibilities:
- Execute NDT inspections using UT, RT, MT, PT, VT, and TOFD as required for FPSO scopes.
- Carry out in-service and pre-commissioning inspections on hull, deck equipment, manifolds, risers, pipelines, storage tanks, and welds.
- Interpret and report findings, identify defects (corrosion, cracks, weld flaws, laminations), and recommend accept/reject actions per codes and client criteria.
- Ensure proper calibration, verification, and documentation of NDT equipment; maintain traceability of calibration certificates.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, engineering, welding teams, and offshore operations for inspection scheduling and follow-up repairs.
Qualifications & certifications:
- NDT certification (e.g., ASNT, PCN, ISO 9712) Level II or Level III preferred with endorsement for applicable methods.
- Offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET/FOET), medical fitness for offshore work.
- Experience with FPSO or offshore oil & gas inspection projects; ability to work on vessels and in marine environments.
