- Manage all construction activities pertaining to the assigned scope of works (Process) for the Onplot from participation in detailed engineering through to construction activities at RLIC Site to hand-over to the Completion Team in accordance with the Completion Sequence. Ensure close control on the schedule and key Project and Progress Milestones
- Review and approve Construction Execution and related procedures, specifications, deliverables and progress reporting prepared by the contractor.
- Undertake complex tasks and acts as a source of guidance to the team and stakeholders by bring solutions and provide support but not generate "micro-management" or unnecessary works to the team and/or the contractor.
- Identify problems quickly and determine root cause and develop plan to mitigate or resolve them.
- Utilize a systematic approach to problems solving that ensures accuracy, timeliness and quality of documentation that supports the resolution.
- Bring technical and execution solutions that favour a safe, but flawless construction execution and transition to commissioning activities.
- Organize and drive efforts of the team and stakeholders to achieve Project objectives.
- Work effectively within established procedures and participates in all important meetings and workshops (e.g., weekly and monthly meetings, 3D Model reviews, Constructability, Traffic and Completion Reviews).
- Guide construction efforts of workers during EPC construction activities at site works in a large fully integrated but complex project environment in which the incumbent strives to achieve best in class Safety, Health, Environmental & Security performances by creating a culture that encourages everyone to perform their best every day on every task.
- Ensure knowledge sharing by capturing and communicating lessons learned to support review teams and future projects.
- Bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering.
- 12 years experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g.,construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 3 years of management level experience in Construction related disciplines, engineering, or project management with overall responsibility for an EPC execution.
- Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
- Broad and extensive knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
- Extensive knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
- Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects,
- Proven track record of Project delivery in the industry and managing contractors and sub-contractors.
- Excellent track record in construction safety results.
- Proven experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodology and systems completion management and associated databases.
- Requires to be inventive on construction execution and methods, bring experience from other large and complex projects, in particular LNG Plants.
