• Enables timely delivery of Restoration Project including Damage Assessment, Demolition, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Contractor Execution Ensure alignment with Company Project Management System, and risk management processes
  • Lead and manages key multi-discipline activities within PMT to direct the Contractor in the execution of various packages and systems to meet milestones and stay within budget.
  • Lead the effort to develop execution plans for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams.
  • Support the Damage assessment process and any vendor/OEM engagement to ensure inspections of equipment and fit for service requirements are met as part of the overall assessment process.
  • To assist Project Division Manager and Head of Project Engineering, managing the development, implementation, update and compliance of internal Governance Processes required to on BRP, including Contractor Execution.
  • To assist Project Division Manager and Head of Project Engineering on the development of the EPCscope and ITT for the following phase of restoration / rebuild of Barzan onshore plant.
  • Leads and coordinates key engineering activities among the different BRP Project actors, to execute damage assessment, demolition and any associated detailed design engineering deliverables per the plan, to support demolition and procurement activities.
  • Ensure effective coordination and execution of the project activities, monitoring progress and interface to achieve project objecives in accordance with approved schedule and requirements.
  • Conducts risk based evaluation of complex technical issues that may have significant commercial impacts to overall project execution and manages the timely delivery of technical deliverables and issues resolution.
  • Verify compliance with Company requirements, standards, specifications and instructions.
  • Oversee effective change management process, scope optimisation, defence against scope creep practices, identifying and sharing best practices and lessons learned. Leads team to document and justify and manage risks associated with design change.
  • Bachelors' Degree in Engineering
  • 8 years experience in Engineering roles, including 4 years in the Oil &Gas Industry, and including 1 year experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/sub-contractors/service/vendor personnel.
  • Experience with an integrated LNG development involving multiple EPCs.
  • Experience with risk assessment approach to decision making.
  • Experience with Upstream sour service gas and LNG facilities.
  • Experience with large utilities system design.
  • Experience working with major EPC Contractors in a Lump Sum environment
  • Technical background as a discipline engineer and experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer.
  • Demonstrates sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Risk management experience
