An exciting opportunity has become available for a QC Production Associate to join an established and technically focused agricultural business based outside of Dubbo, NSW.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in agriculture, science, production, quality control or laboratory environments who enjoys being hands-on and wants to work at the intersection of quality, production and agricultural technology.
You'll spend significant time on the production floor, working closely with both Quality Control and Production teams to ensure seed quality and compliance standards are maintained throughout the production process.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining seed quality across all stages of production.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing quality checks on the production floor
- Ensuring quality data is accurately recorded
- Identifying and communicating non-conformances and supporting corrective actions
- Generating reports from seed testing relaying results to production managers and team leaders
- Conducting seed quality testing across crops
- Maintaining accurate laboratory records, databases and test reports
- Ensuring testing procedures are conducted in accordance with relevant ITSA guidelines
- Conducting pilot-line testing on incoming crops before they progress to commercial production
- Operating production equipment and machinery
