Commercial Construction Contracts Administrators are responsible for supporting the successful commercial and contractual delivery of construction projects, working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, subcontractors and clients.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, scopes, contracts and variations.
- Prepare and manage progress claims, payments and cost reporting.
- Track project costs, budgets, variations and financial performance.
- Assist with tendering, contract negotiations and subcontractor engagement.
- Manage RFIs, notices, extensions of time and contractual correspondence.
- Review subcontractor claims and ensure contractual compliance.
- Maintain project documentation and commercial records.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to manage commercial risks and project outcomes.
- Support project close-out, final accounts and defects.
To be considered for one of these positions you MUST have:
- Must have Australian experience working for a head contractor.
- Must have experience across commercial construction projects.
- Proven experience working as a Contracts Administrator.
- Strong understanding of contracts, variations, claims and project costs.
- Ability to work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors and site teams.
- Strong commercial, communication and organisational skills.
