We are seeking an experienced Subsea Engineer to support subsea transport and installation activities on a major offshore project. The role includes technical coordination, engineering review, and offshore campaign support on installation vessels.
- Provide engineering support for subsea transport and installation (T&I) scopes during offshore construction campaigns.
- Review contractor deliverables including installation procedures, lift plans, sea fastening, and deployment analysis.
- Coordinate technical interfaces between installation contractors, suppliers, vessel teams, and project delivery teams.
- Ensure contractor activities comply with approved engineering, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
- Support resolution of technical queries and engineering issues during planning and offshore execution.
- Participate in technical reviews, planning meetings, and offshore readiness activities.
- Supervise subsea installation activities onboard offshore construction vessels.
- Attend daily offshore coordination meetings and support installation planning.
- Provide installation progress updates and reporting to the project team.
- Manage technical interfaces between contractors, vessel teams, and Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) representatives.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience working on offshore subsea or offshore construction projects.
- Experience working onboard offshore installation or construction vessels highly regarded.
- Knowledge of subsea transport and installation (T&I) operations preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain BOSIET, MSIC, and offshore medical certification.
