Brunel is currently supporting a major Oil & Gas operator in the search for a Rig Supervisor III for an international assignment in Guyana.
Contract Duration: 2-year contract
- Represent the company onsite to support the safe and efficient execution of drilling and completion operations
- Act as the primary contact for rig and third-party personnel, ensuring personnel, equipment, and services logistics are properly coordinated
- Communicate and enforce Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) expectations onsite
- Monitor rig operations to ensure well control procedures and emergency response practices are properly followed
- Ensure drilling and completion procedures are executed in accordance with approved programs and management of change processes
- Coordinate logistics and operational support required for drilling and completion activities
- Support onsite surveillance activities including kick detection, abnormal pressure detection, torque & drag, mud properties, and solids control efficiency
- Ensure operational, environmental, safety, and security drills are conducted at the required frequency
- Prepare accurate operational reports and maintain close interface with engineering and geology teams regarding well objectives and operational requirements
- Experience working with a major Operator or Drilling Contractor
- Experience in rig supervisory or leadership roles within drilling and completion operations
- Current Well Control Certification required
- Valid BOSIET and OEUK/OGUK
- Strong operational leadership and commitment to safety and operational integrity standards
