Brunel is currently searching for a Construction Coordinator for a contract opportunity to support the execution and commissioning of a large-scale TSF in a mining construction project in Arizona.
This contract position will work on-site in Bagdad, Arizona on a 4x1 rotation.

- Promote and enforce all MSHA and site-specific safety protocols.
- Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the client's field representative, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Coordinate daily activities with contractors, engineers, and site management to maintain efficient project execution.
- Conduct inspections and request testing to ensure compliance.
- Maintain detailed logs and daily reports on progress, safety, and quality metrics.
- Identify and resolve non-conformances.
- Support audits and ensure all required documentation and records are accurate and up to date.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Solid understanding of QA/QC procedures and soil/material testing standards
- Ability to interpret construction drawings/specifications.
- Language skills - English is required
- Experience in Lean Construction practices and Construction Planning
- Experience with mega projects (values exceeding US$ 1.0 billion), especially large mineral processing projects.
- Prior EPCM experience preferred with field coordination
- Previous Drill and blast experience preferred
- Understanding of Labor requirements and forecasting
- Experience in setting KPI's and tracking on a day-to-day basis
- Predominant experience in earthworks field roles
- Working as a team member (Client, EPCM & Contractors)
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Willing to work night shifts.
- Mining and MSHA experience preferred
- Willing to commute 50-70 miles to site via company transport.
